Michael E. Camferdam, CFP

Mike Camferdam received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Accounting. Upon graduation, he was recruited as a Legislative Auditor for the Office of the Auditor General where he served on the Special Fraud Task Force. In 1982 Mike joined the Morrison Assurance Company and rose to the rank of Senior Underwriter for surety performance and payment bonds and construction projects throughout the southeast. 

In 1985 Mike embarked on his current career as a Investment Advisor Representative, eventually retaining the title of Senior Vice President with Raymond James. He received accreditation as a CFP in 1991. In 2013, he joined Eddie Allison at First Charter Financial Corporation. He is knowledgeable in constructing goal oriented investment strategies, portfolio construction and modeling, technical analysis and financial planning.

Mike has been very active in the Fiesta of Five Flags having served as the Chief of the Mayoki Indians, a member of the Krewe of Lafitte, the 2004 DeLuna Court, a member of the Conquistadors and President of Rebellaires. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying tennis, golf, hunting and fishing.
